John 4:35 (NKJV)
Jesus, during His conversation with the Samaritan woman, identifies Himself as the Messiah, the long-awaited for Anointed One.
He is the promised Seed of the woman who is to crush the serpent’s head and redeem God’s people from their sin. He also makes the wonderful declaration that the harvest has come and that sowing and reaping will coincide. The fields are white with harvest and the laborers are being sent to reap and bring in the fruit of the labor that has and will be performed on behalf of the Master.

John 3:30 (ESV): He must increase, but I must decrease.”
When disputes and factions arise around, especially during our service to the Lord, what is our response? Do we respond with jealousy? Anger? Bitterness that God may be calling His own to Himself by others and in a way we had not anticipated?
Or do we humbly admit that all we have has been given from above? That Christ is preeminent and the Head of the Church?
